Too long, too short; at any rate not the right road to take.
Despite its title, this is quite a short play. That’s because playwright Shelagh Stephenson doesn’t keep right on to the end of the Road – the path to forgiveness by the family of a young man stabbed in the street by an 18-year old woman. And the end is more like an interval point, a change in direction not a finality.
